Big Girl Food

Last night we tried feeding Maggie rice cereal. I mixed rice with a little bit of formula so it was really soupy. She didn't quite get it, but she thought it was funny. She would smile real big and then push it all out of her mouth with her toungue....maybe we'll try next month!

Swimming

Yesterday we went swimming with Nana and Aunt Jennifer. Maggie LOVED it! She looks grumpy in the pictures but she had fun.

2 Months and Baby Westin

Friday the 16th was a big day for us. Maggie turned 2 months and we got to meet our new cousin Westin Heath.

Today Ava Reese came over and played with me and Maggie. She's such a good big cousin!

They were together the whole day and Ava Reese only stole her bottle once...and put her paci in her mouth once. I say thats pretty good for a curious almost 2 year old!

Bumbo

This morning I got the Bumbo seat out just to see how Maggie would do in it. She still needs to learn to hold her head up better, but she liked it!

Playing

Today I set up Maggie's playmat and let her lay in it while I did some much needed cleaning around the house. She's still a little young for it but I felt better laying her down there than just leaving her on the floor with nothing to look at. I think she liked the mirror...and everytime she waved her hand around she would hit one of the toys that made noise. I can't wait till she actually starts interacting with toys!

We had a very lazy 4th since we went to the lake and saw fireworks on the 3rd...I love giving Maggie a bath and putting her in some cozy pjs...it makes me want to cuddle!
