Baby Walker #2

03/30/13:
Earlier this month we found out we are pregnant! On March 27th I went for my first appointment and ultrasound...and everything went great! The baby measured 6 weeks and 1 day and the heart rate was 123bpm. My due date is November 19th! My next appointment is April 10th.

How far along? 6 weeks

Total weight gain/loss? I weighed more than I thought I did at my first appointment, so I might have already put on a few pounds!

Maternity clothes? No, but I'm looking forward to warm weather so I can wear baggy tank tops

Stretch marks? No - I literally got one with Maggie so I'm thinking I have good genes

Sleep? I can fall asleep at the drop of a hat, but staying asleep is a different story

Best moment of this week: seeing and hearing baby's heartbeat, God is good!

Have you told family and friends? Nope!

Miss Anything? drinking 2...or 3...or 4 glasses of wine after a stressful week ;) 

Movement: No

Food cravings: no but if I think of something that sounds really good its hard to get it out of my head

Anything making you queasy or sick? my coffee doesn't taste as good anymore, and I have just random waves of nausea  

Have you started showing yet? No  

Gender prediction: Girl - I don't know if that is a prediction or preference...but I think Maggie will have a little sister :)

Labor signs: No

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: moody! I told Eric to take everything I say for the next 9 months with a grain of salt because my emotions have gone crazy.

Looking forward to: my 8 week appointment and being able to share the news with everyone!

Baby Walker at 6 weeks!



04/10/13: 
My 8 week appointment went great! The baby was measuring right on target and the heart rate was 174 bpm! Next appointment and ultrasound is May 3rd!

How far along? 8 weeks
Total weight gain/loss? none

Maternity clothes? No

Stretch marks? No

Sleep? I could sleep all the time! 

Best moment of this week: getting to hear the heartbeat again!

Have you told family and friends? just a few :)

Miss Anything? having a martini at dinner last Friday would have been nice

Movement: No

Food cravings: fruit, salads, and coke ices - exactly what I wanted when I was pregnant with Maggie!

Anything making you queasy or sick? still getting little waves of nausea occasionally

Have you started showing yet? No, but some days I'm so bloated at the end of the day it looks like I'm 6 months!  

Gender prediction: It's a girl, no doubt in my mind!

Labor signs: No

Belly Button in or out? In

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: My moods swings have definitely toned down :)

Looking forward to: my next ultrasound and Maggie's birthday party!

4/18/13:

How far along? 9 weeks 2 days

Total weight gain/loss? I'm pretty sure I have gained some weight, it definitely looks like it. I should invest in a scale!

Maternity clothes? I put on a maternity shirt today because none of my shirts fit! The girls have more than doubled in size...its ridiculous.

Stretch marks? No

Sleep? I'm feeling less fatigue every day. 

Best moment of this week: noticing such drastic changes with my body!

Have you told family and friends? some.

Miss Anything? being able to stay awake past 9pm. 

Movement: No

Food cravings: still mostly healthy stuff. but I've really wanted Chinese for a couple of weeks now, I'm trying to wait until we can go out to P.F. Chang because its a little healthier, but I might cave and get some take out this weekend!

Anything making you queasy or sick? not really

Have you started showing yet? My stomach is definitely bigger...but right now it just looks like I should lay off the donuts

Gender prediction: I still think its a girl! I'm even temped to buy a couple of girl outfits!

Labor signs: No

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: happy most of the time!

Looking forward to: announcing this pregnancy to everyone!

4/21/13:

Finally took a bump pick (or more of a 'bloat' pic) It's getting hard to hide in some clothes, but I think I notice it more than anyone. This is also at the end of the day, when I feel like I am at my biggest.  9weeks 5 days!

4/25/13:

How far along? 10 weeks 2 days

Total weight gain/loss? not sure exactly...but I think at least 5 pounds

Maternity clothes? nope! I was afraid I was going to have to pull them out early with this pregnancy but thankfully the bloat went away! I think I have another month in my jeans.

Stretch marks? No

Sleep? sleeping great! I'm so glad I don't feel tired all the time now, but most nights I still pass out on the couch before crawling to bed. 

Best moment of this week: realizing that we might know boy or girl before the end of May!

Have you told family and friends? I may have let it slip to a couple more :)

Miss Anything? being able to go more than 2 hours without eating! I feel like my life revolves around food right now.

Movement: No

Food cravings: no cravings this week! But someone mentioned a Sonic chili dog the other day and I'm going to have to get one of those soon! 

Anything making you queasy or sick? I only feel sick when I'm hungry (exactly like when I was pregnant with Maggie). 

Have you started showing yet? Its not a 'bump'. Its just more tummy haha.

Gender prediction: GIRL. but I finally had one symptom that I never had with Maggie. HEARTBURN! I've never in my life had it.

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: feeling great!

Looking forward to: My 12 week appointment and ultrasound and looking like I'm pregnant instead of chubby!

5/4/14:

How far along? 12 weeks 1 day. Apparently I had my due date wrong, I thought it was November 19th but my doctor informed me yesterday that it is November 15th. It never changed, I just had it wrong!

Total weight gain/loss? 4 lbs 

Maternity clothes? now that everyone knows I will probably embrace the maternity clothes instead of trying to hide in oversized shirts.

Stretch marks? No

Sleep? it is finally back to normal! 

Best moment of this week: seeing little nugget again and announcing the news to everyone!

Have you told family and friends? yes! finally!

Miss Anything? wearing jeans comfortably, you would think since it is May in Alabama I could wear shorts everyday.

Movement: No

Food cravings: they are gone for now

Anything making you queasy or sick? still only feel sick when I'm hungry
