Happy Valentine's Day!

Yesterday Eric and I went to church with Aunt Ashley, Uncle Heath, and Ava Reese. Afterwards we had a very yummy lunch at Crackle Barrel. But the whole time I was just so excited because me and Eric had decided to go pick out a crib since we were actually together! I had already done some shopping around online, but the crib I wanted was at Target and it had been out of stock for a long time. FINALLY I looked at the website this week and it said it was available in stores! So right after lunch we went to Target got the exact crib i wanted. Thank goodness the first Target had it because I was willing to go to every one in the Birmingham area to find it! On the way home we stopped by Pops and JiJi's house to visit for a little while. As soon as we got home that afternoon I was ready to put the crib together. Eric said "NOW?!"....yes! right now! So Eric put it together while I sat and watched...and got in the way.

I love the bedding even more now!

We got this glider from Eric's sister, Jennifer. We will probably end up putting it in the living room since it is so big and comfy! But for now we are piling all of Maggie's stuff here.

I know this post is a day late, but after getting the nursery set up we were VERY lazy and watched movies the rest of the day! Definitely my best Valentine's day yet!

Finished!

Today I finally finished painting the nursery. I painted the white about a month ago, and then my mom and I painted the top a couple of weeks later, but I decided I wanted to go with a new color and theme. So Memaw ordered my bedding and we went and picked out a color earlier this week. I was going to wait until the weekend so Eric could help me, but I was just too excited to wait. I started painting yesterday but halfway through the second coat I was called into work...I was so upset! I woke up early this morning ready to finish completely. So now the walls are painted and everything is cleaned up! Hopefully this weekend me and Eric will have time to go buy a crib and get it set up.

25 Weeks

Maggie,

At 25 weeks you are VERY active. You wake Mommy up every morning kicking and moving around and it also seems like you are doing jump-n-jacks on Mommy's bladder because I have to use the bathroom ALL THE TIME! I love to watch my tummy grow knowing you are growing with it. I am feeling more tired lately than I have since my first trimester. 15 weeks seems like such a long time until I get to hold you, but we are spending that time getting everything around the house just perfect before you arrive!







Oh and the wall behind me is the new color of our living room, very plain but better than white!

24 Weeks

Today I am 24 weeks and since I am just now starting a blog I thought I would recap on my pregnancy so far. My first trimester was pretty uneventful, no morning sickness at all. I was just ALWAYS tired. The doctor said that I was having a normal, low-risk pregnancy and the due date was May 25th. Everyone was just so sure that we were having a boy and his name was going to be Jack, so at 16 weeks it was a BIG surprise to find out we were having a little Maggie. At about 18 weeks i finally started showing, but I am just now starting to look pregnant instead of chubby. I am feeling great but not taking it for granted. I know the uncomfortable and sleepless nights of my third trimester are soon to come. But so far so good!

Our Wall of Many Colors

When Eric and I moved into our new house in December we were determined to get the house painted as soon as possible. But so far we have only managed to get the kitchen finished! Now we're stuck on deciding a color for the living room. We have made many trips to Lowe's and Home Depot and have bought numerous paint samples, but we have yet to find a color that we both like. If we dont decide soon we are going to have an entire wall full of different colors!
