Trip to the Park and Bad Weather

My cousin Claire and I decided to take Maggie and her dog, Aubie to the park the other day. She loved it! She loves being in a swing. Last weekend she was pretty much in a swing all day and she was so content.

It was a beautiful day but that night some nasty weather came through. Thankfully nothing big came of it. Since my sister is home alone with her kids and a little girl she keeps sometimes she decided to come over and wait the storm out with us. AND I was keeping Eric's niece and nephew while their parents went to see a friend. Needless to say it was a little chaotic.





Mama's Girl

Maggie is going through a clingy stage. She wants me sitting in the floor when she playing, and follows me whenever I leave the room...she has even crawled up the stairs after me a couple of times!



Spring is Here!

I am so excited that the weather is finally warm! We celebrated by getting some yummy strawberrys and planting some flowers this weekend..

she can pretty much eat anything now because she has SIX teeth!

Oh Maggie...

Last week was my first week at home with Maggie since she was 4 months old. I am blessed that I am able to stay home with her now, and I have to keep reminding myself of that throughout the day because she is so destructive! I guess I just haven't seen the worst of it on the weekends because we are usually busy going and doing. Now I know what her babysitter dealt with everyday!



and as I'm blogging she has stolen my cool ranch doritos and eaten/smashed them into the carpet! haha I was wondering why she wasn't bugging me!

10 Months

At 10 months Maggie actually hasn't changed much since 9 months. She is the exact same weight and height (21 lbs and 28"). She has one more tooth, and is eating more table food than formula. We are down to 2 bottles a day, and one in the middle of the night.

she has all of a sudden started dancing whenever one of her toys makes noise, I think she is getting that from Dakota! She does the Dora dance!

Maggie has started pushing her stroller around the living room! Maybe she will be walking sooner than we thought..



Thumb-Sucker!

I am sad to say that Maggie is a thumb-sucker...it started out only when she was tired, but now she does it throughout the day. She does this thing where she will start sucking her thumb and rub on her ear at the same time. At first I thought her ears where hurting from all the ear infections she was having, but we have been infection free for 2 months, so its just a weird soothing habit i guess! Right now it is still cute, but as she gets older it is going to become a big problem. I have no clue how to get her to stop! She absolutely will not take a paci, when I put one in her mouth she just takes it out and looks at me like I'm crazy.
