Happy Halloween!

For Halloween we went to my dad's neighborhood to trick or treat. But before all the excitment we had to take a nap!

Maggie was Cinderella! This was the best picture I could get of her in her costume...she has become impossible to photograph!

Maggie and my little brother, Joseph

Some of Maggie's cousins came trick or treating with us...we had 3 little monkeys!

Ava Reese was a pony...it was the cutest costume!

Next year all these little ones will be running around...its going to be interesting keeping up with them all!

5 Months

Maggie is now 5 months old!

Weight: almost 17 lbs
Height: 25 1/2 inches ??
Diapers: size 3, Pampers
Formula: Parent's Choice Gentle, 6 oz every 3 to 4 hours
Food: Stage 2 fruits and vegetables w/ rice twice a day

Maggie has learned to roll around. She can pretty much get to anything she wants if she can roll to it! Now that she can roll over she always sleeps on her stomach.

this is pretty much where she falls asleep every night...she wears herself out playing.

she refuses to look at the camera!

I think were getting close to getting a tooth....and sitting up, but everytime I try to make her sit on her own she kicks her legs and falls backwards. She just doesn't get it yet!

I promise this weekend I will get up to date...now that everything has calmed down (my new job, Maggie starting daycare, and Daddy's new assignment where he's out of town A LOT)...I have started finding more time in my day for the computer!

4 Months

At 4 months Maggie is still the sweet and laid back baby she has always been...and she is growing like a weed! She now weighs 15 lbs 10 oz and is 24 1/2 inches long. That is the 90th percentile in weight and the 75th in height! She eats a jar of stage 1 baby food mixed with rice twice a day and eats about five 6 ounce bottles througout the day. Since Mommy has started work she now goes to daycare everyday...she loves it! But when we get home she is absolutely exhausted and usually doesn't make it past 7pm. Just recently she has started grabbing for things like her paci and some toys...and she is very close to holding her bottle! Right now we are mostly working on her sitting up. Since she HATES being on her tummy I have to sit there and hold her up right to keep her content...so I am VERY ready for her to do that on her own. She is still in size 2 diapers but once we use up this pack we are moving up to size 3.

watching Alabama football!

I have put a paci in Maggie's mouth from day one...but she still seems to like her thumb better! oh well I tried!

Bookbag!

Today was Maggie's first day of daycare, and since I don't start work until next week I have a lot of free time this week. I started out today by going to Target ALONE. :) Then I went to the bank and actually went INSIDE instead of just going through the drive thru. My next stop was a little boutique in the Lee Branch shopping center called Plain Jane. An amazing friend got me a gift certificate from there when Maggie was born and I have just now gotten around to going in there. They have the cutest stuff (mostly children's clothing). But my favorite was their Stephen Joseph cloth bookbags. Maggie definitely had to have one.

This is the one I got! This is my most favorite purchase that I've made in a long time.

Church

Sunday I took Maggie to church for the first time. I know it's really sad that she is 3 months old and just now going, but we finally made it! She was SO good. She stayed in the sanctuary with me and just sat in my lap and eventually fell asleep.
